ABSTRACT

The objective of this research is to obtain an overview of the impact of a learning environment structuring on children’s basic character development using the teaching pyramid model based on the Indonesian Curriculum 2013. The approach used in this research was the Research and Development (R & D) method of Borg and Gall (1983). The research was conducted in Bandung City, Indonesia, using a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection techniques were questionnaires, observations, documentation, and literature studies. Data analysis was done qualitatively. The results show that the design of a conducive and integrated learning environment can support children’s basic character development through the application of the teaching pyramid model based on the 2013 curriculum.
