ABSTRACT

Vitiligo is difficult to treat both medically and surgically. Surgical option is sought as a treatment modality only if the disease is stable. Despite a wide range of treatment options, there are still body sites such as lips, ankles, genitalia, distal ends of fingers, and palms, which if affected with vitiligo pose challenges for treatment. This chapter will focus on various treatment modalities to manage vitiligo in difficult-to-treat areas.
