ABSTRACT

An inventive technology in wastewater treatment called membrane bioreactor (MBR) technology has been extensively employed all over the world. MBR offers many advantages and has been familiar for some time. Free selection of hydraulic retention time (HRT) and sludge retention time (SRT) are offered by MBR that allow more pliable control of operational parameters. In research project, a novel enhanced MBR by internal micro-electrolysis (IE) was significantly employed for treatment of reactive brilliant blue X-BR dye wastewater due to its larger organic matter and nitrogen removal. The global MBR market tends to increase at a comparatively faster rate compared to other kinds of membrane systems used in wastewater treatment, with MBR technology discovering growing use in municipal, marine, and industrial applications. MBR technology would supply a decentralized, strong, and cost-effective treatment for managing high-quality effluent for developing nations with vast areas with no sewerage systems. Excellent retrofit capability was also suggested by MBR for upgrading existing conventional wastewater treatment plants.
