ABSTRACT
ABSTRACT: Sefidrud buttress Dam with a height of 105 m was designed in 1959 and commissioned in 1963. The dam is located on Sefidrud river, downstream of confluence of Qezelowzan and Shahrud rivers, some 250 km north-west of Tehran. The main purpose of the project was regulating water for irrigation demands.
