ABSTRACT

The Dry Mix Methods have been used since mid 70-ies and have a number of proven applications. Applications are normally related to type of structure for which the ground improvement is used. However with the dry mix methods the type of soil has to be considered regarding applications. The method has more engineering possibilities than many of the competitive methods resulting in a great possibility for optimisation of the ground improvement measures in the actual projects. The experiences of the dry mix methods are very favourable both from technical and economical viewpoint.
