ABSTRACT

In this study, we reveal the specific characteristics of communicative development for junior school children with vision impairments. The experimental results for the process of communicative formation based on self-cognition and personal quality development are presented. The correlation and interconditionality of communication defects and personality transformations in children with vision impairments are analyzed. We consider the ways of enhancing communication and the directions of special correctional and developmental work with children, with the aim of facilitating active communication among junior students of educational orphanage, as well as training emotional expression and comprehending other peoples’ emotional state.
