ABSTRACT

The paper considers educational technologies as a factor of axiological development of students’ personality of in context of spiritual and moral education in the sphere of tourism. These technologies were developed by Dr. Shogan V., Professor, Honored Teacher of the Russian Federation, and Storozhakova E., Ph.D., Associate Professor. These technologies are centered on a five-component structure (image – analysis – meaning – action – reflection) and are based on the basic principles of the existentialism.

The paper presents the experience of implementing the project «Contemplative Journey to the City of St. Petersburg» in the context of these technologies. The article is intended for teachers and students of Russian universities studying the methods of excursion activities.
