ABSTRACT
Recommended size-selective sampling criteria for thoracic and respirable mass fractions were published in Chapter 4.Β of the 1985 Report of the American Conference of Governmental Industrial Hygienists (ACGIH) Technical Committee on Air Sampling Procedures, Particle Size-Selective Sampling in the Workplace. 1 The general requirements for an ideal sampler satisfying the criteria and a review of currently available samplers were presented in Chapters 5.Β and 5.C for thoracic and respirable samplers, respectively.
