ABSTRACT
Optical sensors have been considered the most promising technology that have various applications including quantum study, healthcare, environmental monitoring, motion sensors, and pharmaceuticals. They have received noticeable research attention in the past decades and will dramatically change human life. In practical applications, the demands from the points of global interest and human need lead to the various optical sensors becoming smaller, faster, more sensitive, and cheaper. Si photonics resonator-based sensors have the potential to fulfill all these characteristics.
