ABSTRACT

This chapter proposes a novel optimization-based video watermarking technique to increase robustness and imperceptibility. It proposes an optimal embedding strength-based robust and imperceptible video watermarking algorithm, which is the extension work, where it concentrates on avoiding false positive detection problems in the image watermarking technique. In addition, the chapter utilizes the hybrid transform domain of contourlet transform, and the Hilbert transform for embedding the gray scale watermark image within the video frame covers. It discusses the related works, the basic concepts and a detailed explanation of the proposed watermarking scheme. The firefly algorithm (FA) is a nature-inspired metaheuristic optimization algorithm inspired by the fireflies' flashing behavior. An efficient multi-scale directional transform developed by Minh N. Do and Martin Vetterli is the contourlet transform. The chapter then proposes false positive free dual contourlet and Hilbert transform-based video watermarking using the firefly nature-inspired algorithm.
