ABSTRACT
The aim of Section 2 is to identify and discuss new perspectives offered by modern psychometric methods for the validation and calibration of measurement and to present two innovative empirical projects that illustrate how these new methods can contribute to the actual development of specific instruments in adequation with concepts and domains of investigation.
