ABSTRACT

In reference to the World Economic Forum and Accenture data, logistics determines about 5.5" of greenhouse gas emissions of the world, which is designated to the division between modes of freight transport and logistics buildings. In many industries the term green logistics is used to refer to implementation of a proactive environmental protection strategy and accomplishment of operational decisions. Nature of logistics is functionally related, intensely integrative and various logistics activities influence the environment. Environmental objectives are closely aligned to economic objectives in the sphere of logistics designated as green logistics. Green logistics activities include measuring the environmental impact of logistics areas. Due to climate protection, the pricing policy also ought to include external costs, that is, the impact on the environment and the society. In the context of sustainable development, the transport area involves three dimensions while building analytical ground: economic, social, and environmental.
