ABSTRACT
Internet of things (IoT) is an important field of research for more than a decade. Data privacy and system security are the main issues for various IoT applications that have been addressed, but there are many challenges that are still need to be looked at. In order to explore this emerging field of study, a detailed review of the research progress and issues related to security and data privacy are being discussed in this chapter.
