ABSTRACT

The large power users have to sign “agreement about the sale and purchase of electricity” with the generation enterprises. This chapter discusses the direct trade credit system, evaluation index system, evaluation method, and the corresponding countermeasures aiming to large users. Specifications such as electricity fees, quantity of electricity, and fund are the key consideration of customer credit status. Some organizations like the tax authorities and the financial sector set up user credit record index on the basis of their own assessment need. In countries with higher level of credit management, enterprise and individual credit records, collected by the national credit system, can be queried by their collaborators. It is evident that this cooperation based on information symmetry greatly reduces the credit risk of the seller. External evaluation index, users’ credit evaluated by banks, refers to banks’ evaluation and reflects users’ finance.
