ABSTRACT
The solar cells layout on photovoltaic (pv) panels can have an important influence on environmental parameters and plants below in the greenhouse. In the combination process of pv electric power generation with agriculture in China, there is currently no uniform standard, and the solar cell layout in pv greenhouses is in a state of chaos. Combining pv with other industries has become a suitable way, and is also the encouraged direction of the policy, one of which is ‘agriculture + pv’ mode. Because of the common and complementary aspect of pv and agriculture on the land use, the industry has been seeking a combination for breakthrough, thereby making it one of the important developing directions currently in China. According to the analysis of the solar cell layout in many pv greenhouses already built, there are several kinds of typical pv cells’ arrangement or layout on panels.
