ABSTRACT

A well-established city health system is required to incorporate the environmental factors in frameworks of economics, epidemiology, and environmental sciences. Basic data from 21 cities of Guangdong province were employed as samples to establish research models, which provide urban planning expertise suggestions in public-health-oriented sport cities, and further nurtures the “sport city model” that can be applied to Urban Planning and the management of city health. As the city with the greatest population expansion in the west coast, Portland attracts many excellent young adults through its habitable environment and urban structure. The urban structure that is favorable for outdoor activities and people’s need for outdoor activities are satisfied. In the late 1990s, the concept of “Healthy Neigh-bourhood” was formulated. Boston, California, and Indiana started the “Healthy City” plan, and boosted the US cities to become more favorable for outdoor activities.
