ABSTRACT
The negative impact on urban traffic that already results in an imbalance between supply and demand will get worse during the construction. Binjiang North Road is an important longitudinal traffic trunk with two-way six lanes plus a vehicle–bicycle separator plus a bicycle lane in Shunqing District, and it intersects with Huandu Avenue at the roundabout. The roads have two-way four-lanes plus a bicycle lane. The traffic conditions are rather good, the average daily traffic volume is relatively small, and the traffic order is sound. The survey results of traffic volume show that the traffic volume of Huandu Avenue and Binjiang North Road at rush hours is huge, but the roads are still somewhat clear. During construction, in order to reduce the impact on road network traffic at the construction area as far as possible, the access to the construction area will be reduced.
