ABSTRACT

In the presented paper we are introducing the principles of modelling and simulation for operation of an aviation electronic security system. We have created the specific model for an air operation of an electronic security system in the program MATLAB-Simulink, which we use for the simulation of economic efficiency in the process of air traffic control. Further, based on the method of Monte Carlo, we model the mean time trouble-free operation of an air electronic security system and by simulation of mean time to failure in operation, we find out the time in which the system is available during the observed period, as well as the time in which the system, due to failure or periodic inspection, is out of service. Based on this data, we can control aviation electronic security systems, determine their reliability and financial losses on the disposal of these systems out of service.
