ABSTRACT
The article deals with the issue of process improvement and quality in practice. As this instrument is primarily used in organizations, which deal with automotive industry, article describes the quality assurance process in the automotive industry. The next part of the article deals with IATF Characteristics Standard 16949:2016, which is currently devoted to the quality management system in the automotive industry. Subsequently, the article describes the tools GLOBAL8D, preparation before implementation in the organizations, requirements for progressive implementation and the individual steps implemented in practice. Conclusion the article describes the experience in implementing tool GLOBAL8D in the practice, its benefits respectively benefits to organizations, process of the improvements of the implementation tool in organizations based on customer feedback after some time.
