ABSTRACT
During the learning process of Wireless Communication Systems in the Electrical Engineering Education Program of Indonesia University of Education, students generally face difficulties due to the number of transmission path parameters that need to be calculated through many formulas. These parameters are still calculated manually using a calculator, which means that the learning process requires a relatively long time. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a learning innovation that can shorten and simplify the calculating process. In this paper, the development of Network Planning Software and its use as a learning media in Wireless Communication Systems will be discussed. The research was conducted through three phases, that is, software development, software performance testing and limited implementation. The results show that the use of this Network Planning Software enhances the learning process quality. Students can learn more quickly, more interactively and can improve their analytical skills.
