ABSTRACT

Slope protection with vetiver or micropiles were widely used in slope protection and consolidation engineering, but it was seldom researched in the slope protection collaborated with vetiver and micropiles. Through establishing a large scale test model similar to the actual project, the strain gauges and micro soil pressure cells were used to measure data, the effect on vegetation and micropiles on slope protection were researched by model tests through the top surface loading. The results showed that the vetiver and the micropiles would effectively improve the integrity of the slope and improve the load capacity of the slope, which provides a reference for the design of ecological and engineering cooperative slope protection.
