ABSTRACT
The contribution considers thin plates with periodic structure in planes parallel to the plate midplane. The aim of the note is to derive the governing equations of the general tolerance model of these plates and to compare them with the governing equations of the standard tolerance model. It is shown that using new weakened fundamental assumptions of the tolerance modelling method, the different more accurate model equations can be obtained.
