ABSTRACT
Every drug product is targeted to have some benefits with favorable effects for patients. A drug product also inevitably has certain risks (harms) and it is important to manage the events when they occur. Benefit-risk assessment (BRA) is an evaluation on whether or not the benefits outweigh the risks for a particular product in the context of treatment options available to patients.
