ABSTRACT

Recently, magnetic nanoparticles (MNPs) have been well investigated for cancer theranostics. In this chapter, we focus on recent advances in stimulus-regulated cancer theranostics based on MNPs, which are promising due to their flexibility. We will cover internal stimuli-responsive NPs, including pH, reduction-sensitive NPs and external stimuli-inductive NPs, such as magnetic field- and light-controlled NPs. We will also conclude with an outlook on future prospective in this area.
