ABSTRACT

An actual CFST arch type bridge located in China which has been installed a health monitoring system, is taken as a test-bed in this paper. To model the health monitoring data and predict the reliability of the structural system, an Auto-Regressive Moving-Average (ARMA) model is introduced in this paper. The Levenberg-Marquarat optimization algorithm is utilized in the parameter. Based on the vertical acceleration data, use of the improved estimation algorithm is made to build the ARMA model. The deflection data of the girders is performed by reliability analysis. In combination with the data obtained by the pressure rings on the suspenders of the bridge, the cable forces are identified, and the ARMA model is established to process and analyze the cable forces. The effects of the variations of strength and diameter of the strands on the reliability assessment of the suspenders are investigated.
