ABSTRACT
In recent years external post-tensioning technology has been revolutionized to a point where it is commonly considered as the most cost effective, durable, and efficient strengthening solution for civil and industrial structures. This paper describes the latest developments in strengthening by external post-tensioning and reviews main applications on various recent projects with a particular focus on challenging technical aspects.
