ABSTRACT
The efficiency of the estimation procedure of traffic descriptions in the information telecommunication networks, being the component part of the compound identification method of the complex nonlinear processes, is being studied in the article. It has been proved that the traffic of multiservice switching system is the fractal self-similar process, and the Internet traffic is a multi-fractional one.
