ABSTRACT

Dissemination of innovative small vehicles with a hydrogen fuel has been recognized by European Commission as one of the preferable directions of transport system development. In the article existing energy fuel cells for e-bikes are analyzed. A new source of energy that combines alkaline Anion Exchange Membrane Fuel Cell and Hydronic Chemical Current Source is proposed. The main characteristics of this fuel cell and current source are shown. The main stages of further development of the proposed energy system are described. It is expected that the energy source with the alkaline Anion Exchange Membrane Fuel Cell and the Hydronic Chemical Current Source will increase capacity and safety of vehicles, will allow widespread this form of transport because no grid is required for charging. Additional application of the system is universal power device, used for charging laptops, cell phones, music players, industrial or medical devices.
