ABSTRACT
The chapter provides an overview of the current state of technology and scientific investigations in the field of X-ray sensors based on chromium compensated gallium arsenide (HR GaAs). The analysis of the test results of pixel HR GaAs sensors is demonstrated. It is shown that the sensors are promising for the development of modern X-ray imaging systems.
