Ashy dermatosis, also known as erythema dyschromicum perstans, is a slowly progressive pigmentary skin disorder most frequently occurring in young adults.1 Although it is considered an idiopathic condition, some authors suggested that response to antigenic stimulation might play a role in its development.1
