ABSTRACT
314In today’s society, technology plays an important role, not only in unlimited access for communication purposes but also in education in the area of cheminformatics. Hence, the birth of cheminformatics, which is the combination of chemistry and informatics, opens up a new field of education, although there are countless educational areas that exist today. Cheminformatics has numerous and distinct applications and databases. Cheminformatics contributes by predicting or designing drugs. Immunoassays are commonly used to detect or perform screening test of drug abuse on individuals through their urine or other body fluids. Immunoassays screening commonly points out classes of drugs such as amphetamines, cannabinoids, cocaine, methadone, and opiates. Drug identifications can be carried out in specific detail by applying mass spectrometry methods such as liquid and gas chromatography. This study emphasizes the new approach of applied chemistry through ICT emerging technology that gives information about drug discovery, active compound, and related areas.
