ABSTRACT
Fundamental classification of polymers and multicomponent polymeric systems was discussed in this chapter initially. The core part of this chapter encompasses the mechanical properties, mainly tensile strength, Young’s modulus, impact strength, and elongation at break of semicrystalline-amorphous polymer blends with respect to the polymer blend ratio, morphology, chemical and physical interactions.
