ABSTRACT
What does a post NFV/SDN world look like? Technology advancements in capturing, collecting, and analyzing data are coming at a rapid clip in an effort to keep up with the exponential growth rate of data generation. The potential value of this data follows a similar exponential trajectory as machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI) drives hyper automation and augmentation of operations and interactions. The massive data generation of an SDN network when combined with this hyper automation will make network operations invisible. From the vantage of managing and transporting the largest volume of operational and customer data in the world, these technologies will uncover new information that can transform industries and economic models.
