ABSTRACT
Live work is not the only way of implementation for complex live operation projects; the operation without power distribution line failure is another solution. The transition from live work to non-outage operation, and handling complex live operation projects with simple non-outage operation, is an effective way to reduce the security risk and improve the safety of live working. According to the characteristics of the power network and the requirement of live working, a most widely used non-outage maintenance method is explored, that is the “bridge construction method”.
