ABSTRACT

Aiming at the problem that accelerated testing can often not be executed in the prototype and is always at high cost, a new accelerated testing method based on similar theory is proposed. By ensuring the similarity of geometry, mechanics, kinematics and service environment between prototype and model, a small-scale model can be established, and an accelerated testing of this small-scale model can be conducted in the laboratory. A similarity model with single parameter distortion or multiple parameter distortion can be built to shorten life by means of increasing certain stress to deteriorate the model service environment. Finally, through the rod bolt accelerated life example under alternating load, the correctness of the proposed method is verified.
