ABSTRACT
This book compiles achievements and progress of computation in applications that span an unusually broad spectrum of domains. The immediate goal is to document how computation in its omnipresence is affecting people in most all facets of their everyday life. From here, the intent is to motivate and inspire innovative applications of computation to successfully take on the grand challenges for humanity. The combined content should set us off on a road that leads beyond today’s problems and solution approaches. As such, the material is targeted to capture and answer issues regarding the computed and computable world that is currently being developed but also to inspire new ideas and visions so as to help create a better future.
