ABSTRACT
Foundation Fieldbus is an all-digital, serial, two-way communication system for industrial applications; its specication has been developed and administered by a nonprot organization called Fieldbus Foundation Association [1]. Please note that in this chapter, Fieldbus Foundation will refer to the name of the association while Foundation Fieldbus will be used for the relevant communication system.
