ABSTRACT
The solidworks is applied in this paper to establish the geometric model of steel wires, as shown Fig. 1.
For the convenience of applied torque and clamping force, a 10 mm-long area is left on the steel wire whose diameter is 4.0001 mm, which is slightly larger than elsewhere. However, it cannot affect the result of finite element simulation (the unit size divided below is far larger than 0.0001 mm).
