Analysis of automotive suspension compliance based on the main effects of rubber bushing

Figure  1 a) shows the position of the rubber bushing of the trailing arm studied in the paper. Figure 1 b) shows a computer controlled universal electronic material test rig (RGM-4300).

The corresponding measurement principle is shown in Figure 2 a). The bushings installed in the fixture are fixed to the U-shaped fork by a screw to measure the radial stiffness (Y/Z direction). The corresponding measurement principle is shown in Figure 2 b).
