ABSTRACT
In this article, a large-size direct shear apparatus was involved here to conduct improved filler direct shear test and compression test and we tried to analyze the fillers’ direct shear property and compression property. We have analyzed the shear dilation of the blast furnace slag under different normal stressors by means of vertical displacement of the vertical loading plate and provided suggestions on compression modulus while calculating the settlement according to test results.
