ABSTRACT
BIM is a type of digital information model that can integrate all the architecture design graphics and documents (Chen & Hou 2014; Chien, Wu & Huang 2014; Porter et al., 2014; Meža, Turk & Dolenc 2014). It can help project managers to quickly access detailed design information and find out the required quantities of materials by automatically calculating related figures. However, without sufficient information or data from cost estimation, BIM will not be able to provide comprehensive references for project managers.
