ABSTRACT

Building fire is not only a serious threat to people’s lives and property, but also it causes damage to the building itself. Sometimes, although building collapses are not caused by fire, the structure performance of building must be estimated to decide whether it can be used continuously. Because of the superiority of high bearing capacity, good earthquake resistance, and high stiffness, the Steel Reinforced Concrete (SRC) structure is widely used in high-rise buildings. At present, most of the studies on the column-beam joints are mainly focused on the seismic behavior at ambient temperature, and only few studies have been concerned with the seismic behavior after fire.
