RCS is a key subject that reflects the observability of a target (Levent, 2013). It can be defined and calculated from the target-scattered field caused by an incident plane wave hitting on the object:

where R is the distance between the radar transmitter and the target, and Es and Ei are the scattered and incident electric fields. The unit of RCS is square meter (m2) or dBsm (Doren, 2008).
