ABSTRACT

Some scholars have studied methods like knowledge maps (Hao, 2010). However, methods of knowledge map need the knowledge demander to classify and search knowledge based on the categories they are not familiar with (Lin, 2009). Some knowledge demanders have difficulty in recognizing classification and some even do not agree with such classification standards. In that case, innovation team members are not willing to use such methods for knowledge coordination and management. What’s more, the standards of knowledge classification are so fixed that they are not suitable for the characteristics of dynamics and vagueness of innovative task’s knowledge requirements. In that case, the method of knowledge classification could hardly support knowledge acquirement and integration for innovation team members in an open environment.
