ABSTRACT
Multi-wire cables are widely used in modern civil engineering structures, for instance, in arch bridges, in cable-stayed bridges, and play a critical role when carrying heavy weights. Arch bridge suspender cables consist of steel wires parallel arranged in an equilateral hexagon and PE sheathing layers wrapped around wires (see in Fig. 1).
