ABSTRACT

Geosynthetic products such as geogrids considered as an economic strengthening material for weak soils can be used as restrained materials of concrete strains formation. Several studies have investigated the impact of these products on the behaviour of subbase and subgrade courses beneath flexible pavement structures (Laurinavičius & Oginskas 2010, Abu-Farsakh et al. 2014, Greene et al. 2014, Abdesssemed et al. 2015, and AbuFarsakh 2015). These studies proved that the traffic applied loads capacity and permanent deformation strength of geogrid reinforced flexible pavements can be extremely enhanced.
