ABSTRACT
This paper investigates the performance of precracked concrete beams strengthened with externally bonded Fibre Reinforced Polymer (FRP) sheets. To achieve this, FRP-strengthened beams with Carbon or Glass FRP sheets were tested in flexure. The paper summarises the main findings of this experimental programme and discusses the effectiveness of existing guidelines at predicting the expected deflections.
