Large scale neural network for damage detection in civil engineering structures

The relationship modal parameter and existing external loads is not cause any damage to the system. However, the most rigirous comparison of the modal results doesn’t provide accurate and damage location. Rapid development of computer machine has been increased of using an optimization algorithm that updates a numerical model of the structure to estimate the location and extension of the damage. Because the damage are identified progesivelly (Park K et al. 2016) The neural network method is one of tehnicque that has been intensively study to invesitage the damage detection. Therefore the ouput from neural network are the Submatrix Scaling Factors (SSF) (Yun et al, 2000) which are consist of different force type: KN, KMy,Vz, KMz,Vy, KT.
