ABSTRACT
Innovations in structural forms and the use of structural materials to achieve structures that are more durable and more efficient to construct are obviously important for a sustainable built environment. The combination of fibre-reinforced polymer (FRP) composites with steel and concrete offers many opportunities for such innovations (Teng et al. 2007a; Teng and Yu 2015; Yu et al. 2016).
