ABSTRACT

The concept of chaos was first introduced by the United States meteorologist Lorenz in 1963. Chaos theory is widely used in many kinds of natural sciences including mathematics, physics, chemistry, etc. Because of the immunity to noise and the sensitivity to periodic signals, the chaotic system can be used to detect weak signals. Lorenz system (Recelli et al. 2008), Duffing system (Rafal et al. 2014), Henon system and Logistic system (Nie & Shi 2009) are some of common chaotic systems And the Duffing system with sinusoidal driving force is more sensitive to periodic signals. In early research, Duffing system was used to detect a weak signal and it was suitable to be the weak signal detection model. In recent years, more and more researches are focused on the Duffing oscillator inspecting systems.
